Life Mapper project is developing EU-wide questionnaires to support the assessment and
restoration of marine habitats.
These tools will:
✅ Define criteria and ecological thresholds
✅ Map areas most suitable for restoration
✅ Gather broad expert input via Euromarine, EEA, and JRC
In the coming months, the project will finalize the questionnaires with stakeholders, coordinate with
parallel initiatives, and work with Euromarine for analysis and dissemination.
Through workshops, expert consultation, and surveys, Life Mapper is contributing scientifically sound
and policy-relevant outcomes for marine ecosystem restoration.
